The perspective of Herbal Wellness International on health.
1. Good nutrition, a healthy lifestyle and a Godly outlook
will tend to keep you and your family healthy to a ripe old age.
2 Your body will naturally balance, protect and preserve
itself when given the raw materials to do so.
3. During times of physical or emotional stress, additional
supplements will help ward off sickness and premature ageing.
4. Congenital (present at birth/inherited) deficiencies or
sensitivities can usually be overcome or minimised by adjusting nutritional intake,
using herbs and other nutrients.
5. Orthodox drugs and medicines should be avoided except under
extreme circumstances and should never be used long-term as a substitute for a real
cure.
A real cure involves restoring the conditions in item 2 and
may include changes in item 1.
6. Nearly all, if not all chronic illnesses result from the
long-term deprivation of your body of its nutritional needs, and/or overloading
with chemicals in the form of preservatives, flavourants, colourants, cigarette
smoke, medicinal and other drugs, etc.
Sustained negative emotions can also severely compromise
your health.
7. The younger you are when you take responsibility for your
health the better, however huge improvements can be experienced at any age.
8. Our bodies are subject to the unchanging laws of nature,
our souls to the unchanging laws of God. To ignore either attracts an appropriate
consequence with a clear impact on health. The road of health is yours to
walk.
Much needs to be said on all these points, which will be covered in newsletters,
but for now let good 'ol "horse-sense" prevail, (before it becomes hearse-sense).
The following points represent our researched opinion. We recommend that you
research each one and come to your own conclusion.
Don'ts
Don’t drink alcohol or take medicine while pregnant unless
your doc. says to.
Don’t have a Caesarean section if a normal birth is safe.
Don’t bottle feed if you can breast feed. Most can, but
won’t persevere.
Don’t let your baby be vaccinated before thoroughly investigating all the risks and benefits as researched by a range of healthcare professionals. Give yourself and your baby some time and do not let fear or guilt be your motivation.
Don’t let your children be vaccinated before going through the same investigative process noted above.
Don’t use antibiotics unless natural ones have failed.
Don’t smoke.
Don’t use medicinal drugs unless absolutely necessary.
Never use recreational drugs, ever.
Don’t drink fizzy soda pop, diet or regular. Diet may
be worse.
Don’t eat grains as far as possible, or never. (Keep flour
products to a minimum).
Don’t eat pre-prepared or microwave meals. Don’t microwave
food.
Don’t eat junk food, or limit yourself to one or two meals
a week.
Don’t have unrefined sugar or jams, cakes etc. If you
do have the odd treat pick one that is less sweet eg. Carrot cake. Get used
to less sweetness.
Don’t have artificial sweeteners, even sugar is better.
Don’t eat sweets, or limit yourself to a few a week.
Do’s
Eat organically grown food as far as your budget will
allow.
Start the day with a glass of freshly-juiced fruit & vegetables.
Drink about 6 glasses of filtered water daily. (Use a
good filter or buy water).
Eat fresh salads and vegetables every day.
Prepare your own meals, and gradually introduce the good
stuff.
Eat more fresh fish & chicken, and less red meat if you
are a big red meat eater.
Get enough sleep, and not too much. Six to eight hours
per day for an adult should suffice.
Do some exercise. Start off slowly, maybe with brisk walks
if you’re unfit.
Have a detox from time to time.
Supplements such as probiotics and digestive enzymes will
help to bring your system into balance and improve your basic health.
If you are under stress, easily succumb to infections
or are in general poor health, take a course of Olive leaf extract for a few
weeks, followed by a course of probiotics for a few weeks. Then keep them handy,
the probiotics for good intestine maintenance and the Olive leaf for any kind
of infection. Even if you’ve been in a bus of sneezing people, take a dose or
two to keep infections at bay.
Start with some food-based multivitamin/mineral supplements,
not the cheap synthetic ones. Even at low dosages, every two or three days if
you can’t afford it, they will start to make a difference.
This is not a comprehensive list but if you start thinking
this way and start doing these things you will be amazed at the improvement in health
and vitality.
Taking back your health and planning healthy family meals is
no small task to achieve, especially for a working mom or single peson.
During the trial and error of it all, you do need some help
from a few supplements
that can have a great preventive and energising effect, and
also
"pull you back from the edge of the cliff" when sickness comes
knocking at your door.
The products we specialise in are designed for this, and even
by themselves will be a great benefit to you.
Wishing you all the best as you take back what belongs to you
– your health.
